Our Story
Valley Creek Productions was started by Justin Chan in 2005 in
West Chester Pennsylvania.
Our videography company
is named after Valley Creek, a creek that flows through Chester County. We are a small videography company consisting of the owner and several skilled videographers serving the Philadelphia area including portions of New Jersey and Delaware. Client satisfaction is our top priority and we pride ourselves with creating DVDs of the highest quality. We craft video for Philadelphia area Weddings, Events, and Business.
Valley Creek Productions is a member of the
Greater Philadelphia Videographer's Association.
We are also proud members of the
Wedding & Event Vidographers Association International
(WEVA).
About the Owner
Justin Chan grew up in the Philadelphia suburb of West Chester and has
lived in this area all his life. As a kid he was the member of the family with the video camera.
Back then he would edit the footage using just a pair of VCR's to add music and other "special effects" to present the video to family friends.
Ask anyone who knows Justin and they'll tell you he's always the one with the video
camera at family events, parties, and especially around the holidays. As friends
will definitly attest,
it's sometimes hard to get him to put the camera down and join the fun himself.
It only makes sense that now he's taken something that he loves and turned
it into a career.
Justin attended college in Philadelphia and received his Bachelor of Arts from
Temple University
in Broadcasting, Telecommunications, and Mass Media in 2003.
While at
Temple
he took courses offering hands-on experience in digital editing and videography. During his time working for the university’s
news program, Temple Update, Justin produced and edited his own news package that aired throughout
the
Philadelphia area
. He also produced other short projects
including public service announcements, and school training DVD's. Justin
completed
his Masters in Business Administration at
Penn State Universityin 2006. After starting Valley Creek Productions
he
has gone on to shoot over 50 wedding, event, and business videography projects so far with
many more to come.
Our Videographers
Tony Alessi
Tony is our lead videographer. He has been shooting wedding and event
DVD's in the Philadephia area
since 2003 and has been a videographer with us since 2006. Tony's steady hand and creative
eye will make your wedding or event DVD extra special. Take a look at our wedding
photo's & cocktail hour sample

In addition to his many years of event videography experience, Tony also attended
college in Philadelphia where he earned a Bachelor
of Arts degree from Temple University specializing in Broadcasting,
Telecommunications, and Mass Media. While at Temple he took courses offering
hands on experience with both videography and post production work.
Kristin Chan
Kristin has been a videographer with us since 2008. She comes to us with
a background in creative photography specializing in achitecture and landscapes.
A teacher during the day, she spends most of her time expanding the creative minds
of her young students. Her interest in photography has helped Kristin develop a
keen eye as a videographer helping her find unique shots in any situation. This has been extremly helpful with
shooting wedding and event DVD's.
Joe Kelly
Joe joined our team as a videographer in early 2009. He attended Temple
University and is from the Philadelphia area. He comes to us with
a background in broadcast having worked as a producer for Traffic.com for over two
years. He also has a very steady hand which comes in handy making him an excellent videographer
for shooting many of
the "on the run" portions of the weddings and events we cover.
